Bakker Brown is a collaboration between Cecilia Bakker and Tim Brown.

Ceci designs, patterns and produces for women and Tim designs, patterns and produces for men.

The designs are generally based on our shared vintage clothing archive and trends, styles, themes, etc we notice in the world.

The end results we put out in Spring and Fall collections.

The general theme is updated contemporary classics with unadorned understated quality produced with heavy duty construction, durable fabrics and tailored details.

Quality, durability and wearability are important to us as values in clothing that can be worn a long time,
cared for easily and becomes low maintenance.

All the patterns are designed and patterned in-house and the complete catalog is available in custom sizes and fabrics.

All work done in Kansas City, USA by fair wage labor.

Cut and sew make-to-order production in limited quantities keeps waste to a minimum.

We source from domestic and EU mills for low carbon & no sweatshop labor in our supply chain.
