We are an independent design and production studio located in Kansas City, Missouri, United States.

We design, pattern, cut, and sew our own products.

Labor
All Bakker Brown production is done, all products are made in the United States in conformance with US fair labor practices.

Materials
Majority of textiles are 100% cotton, 23% of textile inventory consists of blends and 6% includes 100% polyester that we are phasing out and will be find substitute for.

Supply Chain
We purchase from EU and US surplus inventory, mill overruns, dead stock, etc. from
EU and US mills in conformance with current labor laws and materials guidance.

Carbon Plan
Our carbon footprint is very low, we will continue to improve with better electric source as we can.

Resource Plan
Our packaging and plastic usage is very low, we continue to improve with intentional choices as they become available to the wider market.
